BIOGRAPHY Michael Tyson

Michael Gerard Tyson, born on June 30, 1966 in New York City, United States of America is a professional boxer and former heavyweight champion. Mike Tyson competed in the professional ring on March 6, 1985 in Albany, New York. He won in the first round. He then boxed 15 times again in 1985, winning all matches by knockout, and almost all of them in the first round.

In 1986, he played 12 times, ranking quickly add up and attract the attention of the mass media. On November 22, 1986 Tyson got the first chance to win the WBC heavyweight title against Trevor Berbick. At age 20, Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion of the world.
